I’ve been eating and living in a much healthier fashion as of late. I’ve lost 72 lbs in the past 4 months or so. I’ve also severely limited my sodium intake.

Unfortunately, for those around me, I catch myself jumping up on the soap box to lecture one and all regarding mending their evil and fattening ways. Hey! I’ve been a fat-ass all my life. I’m thinner today than I’ve ever been in 49 years. That doesn’t give me the right to preach to family and friends about what they should be doing with their own lives. Yeah, I only do it because I care and would like to insure that these folks stay healthy and happy, but still…

It’s not my place. I don’t like people preaching to me about  anything… religion, politics, healthy eating, etc. Keep your shit to yourself, I always say. So, here I am. Preaching to these poor fat-assed family members and friends about the doom they face if they keep eating those damned Twinkies by the case. I’m wrong, though. I shouldn’t infringe upon their enjoyment of that Twinkie just because I’ve sacrificed that same enjoyment in my own life. If I want to eat right, stay slim, and bury all their fat-asses, that’s my choice.

That all being said, there only remains for me to say that I’m sorry I preached to you about eating that Twinkie. You go right ahead and gorge, baby! I won’t love you any less for it. I might envy you a bit, though.

Later…

  1. Good one Eric! Hard not to do that once you see the light…kinda like some ex-smokers…they are the worst! They will drive you bloody nuts! 😉

Course I don’t smoke now, and it wasn’t because of those that were such a pain … as a matter of fact, I keep it to myself mostly because I don’t want to be like them.

  2. Howdy just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same results.
